Storage is increasingly a structural enabler. On grid constrained sites it allows on site generation and load management to operate at higher utilisation. As a hedge against connection timelines it can decouple commercial decisions from network operator schedules. The investment case should reflect the strategic value, not only the immediate arbitrage or peak shaving economics.
